Judge A Competition

Business Judges are needed for district, state and international career development conferences. This is a great way to get involved and to help our students improve their skills.

Provide an opportunity for competitors to take their skills to the next level. Event Sponsorships bestows travel scholarships to the First Place qualifier in an event to compete at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC).

The Oregon DECA Competitive Events Program offers students the opportunity to compete in 60 competitive events in the career clusters of marketing, finance, hospitality, business management, and entrepreneurship.

Oregon’s DECA members are highly motivated, results oriented students with strong academic credentials; this is the type of student that colleges and companies want. Many institutions have found DECA to be a great recruiting resource.

86% of graduating DECA members plan on attending college. Typical DECA members have the work experience and community services as part of their DECA experience. Exhibit at the College & Career Fair or become a sponsor of the Oregon DECA State Career Development Conference to gain access to students from across the date.
