On the first week back from break, state officers Andrew Huang and Alicia Li visited the Ida B. Wells DECA chapter in Portland! Ida B. Wells’ chapter is mostly new members, so state officers shared an overview of the various events and also talked about their personal experiences with DECA. At the end, they led a pitching activity to help members develop quick thinking and confidence in public speaking. Andrew and Alicia loved meeting all the DECA members at Ida B. Wells!
