Oregon DECA Achieves Competitive Success at International Career Development Conference

Oregon DECA certainly brought home the gold this year at the 2013 International Career Development Conference! Students from all over the world competed against each other in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, hospitality and management last week in Anaheim, California. This year especially, Oregon students proved to be top competitors and were recognized for their competitive excellence. Over 16,300 students from all over the world attended the conference.

Members attending the conference last week in Anaheim learned skills in leadership through workshop attendance and keynote speakers. They were able to connect with members from all over the world and take home valuable lessons and experiences. Oregon also had a national officer candidate for the position of Western Region Vice President; Victoria Libby of Willamette High School. Oregon schools in attendance included:
