Arthur KhamkhosySabin-Schellenberg Technical CenterState President
Arthur Khamkhosy, an incoming junior attending Clackamas High School and Sabin-Schellenberg Technical Center, is eager to serve as Oregon DECA’s President.
Arthur’s sister, Vanisa, inspired him to join DECA. Ever since Vanisa’s first SCDC in 2017, Arthur has supported his sister by judging her practice roleplays, attending chapter meetings, and watching the SCDC grand award ceremonies. Now an incoming third year member, DECA has become an important part of Arthur’s life. Arthur served as Oregon DECA’s 2019-2020 Vice President of Finance and is excited to continue leading Oregon DECA to success.
Outside of DECA, Arthur also plays the piano and sings in choir. He and his sister performed a piano duet for OMTA’s statewide showcase in 2018 and 2019. Arthur was also a participant of ACDA’s 2018 All-Northwest Choir and OMEA’s 2019 and 2020 All-State Choir.
Arthur loves helping others. Arthur hopes to pursue a career in mathematics and teaching. He eventually plans to become a math professor at a university. Arthur wants to broaden the experience DECA brings to its members while also increasing membership as a whole. He believes that members should be given resources and opportunities to help them reach their goals in DECA and in life. By increasing membership, he plans to increase the funding granted to Oregon DECA by the government and foster a tight-knit community. Arthur is honored to be elected as Oregon DECA’s President and is ecstatic to take this organization to new heights!

Alex LumbrerasHenleyHigh SchoolVice President of Leadership
Your 2020-2021 Vice President of Leadership, Alex Lumbreras is an incoming junior at Henley High School. He has been looking forward to this next year serving each and every one of you. He will strive to make this year the best one yet! Alex has taken multiple business courses at Henley, and was the 2019-2020 President for the Henley chapter. Ever since finding DECA, Alex has found a great passion for it, and he has been an active member for the past two years. One of his favorite parts of DECA is being able to connect with incredible members with unique, personalized backgrounds.
He decided to join DECA freshman year because of his business teacher. That was one of the best decisions he has ever made. Alex loves the leadership opportunities DECA provides at chapter, state, and national levels. DECA is the reason for who he is today.
Due to growing up in a small farm town with a close-knit community and beautiful countrysides, you may catch Alex playing baseball, hunting, fishing or riding off-road vehicles. He enjoys being in the outdoors for two main reasons, either relaxation or going out to have a fun time.
After high school, Alex would like to go to college to get a marketing or business management degree. He feels the business industry will best suit him for the future. If marketing becomes the route he goes with, then he would like to become a marketer for a big corporation. If business management is the route he goes with, then he would like to start his own business.
