For the second year in a row Nat Ellis' marketing class at Klamath Union High School participated in a night of cancer awareness. This year, the class helped recreate last years "The Game of Life" event by a Klamath Union alumni, Lydia Mendez. This year the event was renamed as "Hoops for Hope" and took place during the halftimes of both the boys and girls basketball games.
During the girls halftime show, members of the audience were able to participate in a "dueling free-throw contest" and during the boys halftime show people were able to purchase paper and participate in a paper airplane throwing contest. Prizes for the winners included a set of four tires from Led Schwab and a night on the town which included a limo ride and tickets to an event at Ross Ragland Theater.
Great work to Mr. Ellis and the Klamath Union marketing class!
