Chapter Team Events

DECA’s Chapter Team Events provide opportunities to engage chapter members in large-scale school and/or community activities. Chapters will plan, implement, and evaluate activities to make a positive impact in their schools and communities. This is the easiest and best way for you and your chapter to get involved in your community and really make a difference in something your chapter may feel passionate about. 

Chapter events are an opportunity for a chapter to come together and organize a project to give back. There are six different chapter events you can participate in: the community service project, the creative marketing project, the entrepreneurship promotion project, the financial literacy promotion project, the learn and earn project, and the public relations project. These are also great ways to work with local business and can really give you good experience and connections that can help you down the road. 

Chapter Team Events are also some of the competitive events with the least involvement in! We hope to see more members and chapters really take these projects on and work with local businesses, organizations, and nonprofits in order to make a difference in your community.
