This months spotlight will highlight and celebrate a local business that is a proud supporter of a local Oregon DECA chapter! Nibbley’s cafe located in Klamath Falls has been supporting Klamath Union DECA for a few years now. The idea for the restaurant started in 1998 by owner Debra Caldwell and it is now a popular and well liked place to eat in Klamath Falls. The owner supports Klamath Union DECA by regularly judging at district competitions. Feedback to students from real world executives and business owners is priceless in enhancing their DECA experience.
Nibbley’s also often hires DECA members to work at the restaurant and currently has several employees who are Oregon DECA members. Just recently, a national finalist was offered a job by the owner during their districts skills competition. Employment and working hands on with local businesses helps DECA members build real world skills. Local businesses support and participation is crucial to the success of Oregon DECA. Thank you Debra and we hope that you continue your support of Klamath Union DECA!
