Cascade DECA’s Successful Program of Work Retreat

Cascade DECA
Date: July 11th, 2012
Categorized Under: General Information

In early July, the Cascade DECA Officer Team left for their annual POW retreat in Sunriver, Oregon. Many officer teams create a POW, or Program of Work, near the beginning of their term to help make the year as successful as possible. A POW consists general goals for the chapter throughout the year and what needs to be done to accomplish those goals specifically within a certain timeframe. In short, it’s a chapter plan for the year.

Cascade DECA team 23 consists of VP of Public Relations Jason Kendrick, VP of Competition Ashleigh Clugston, VP of Operations Melissa Britton, VP of Chapter Involvement Kayla Daggett, VP of Finance Bailey Boaz, and Chapter President former Oregon DECA Publicity Director T.J. Foltz. With the enthusiastic help of Mr. Bob Reinhardt, Cascade’s new chapter officer team hopes to bring yet another successful year to Cascade
DECA.

Does your chapter create a POW? Would you like to share about it? If so, or if you would like to learn about creating a POW at your chapter, contact your State Officer team. Their emails are listed at oregondeca.org/officers_biographies.php .

Cascade DECA looks forward to a successful year ahead!

-T.J. Foltz, Cascade DECA Chapter President
